2. Scope of this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data in connection with Swiss Fintech Week, including:event registrations and ticket purchasescommunications and event updatesnewsletters and promotional emailsparticipation in sessions and partner events

Personal data is processed on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract (e.g. ticket purchase, event registration)
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), in particular:promoting Swiss Fintech Week or similar eventsinforming potentially interested audiences about the eventmaintaining professional relationships within the fintech ecosystem

6. Event communications & newsletters (Mailchimp)
We use Mailchimp as our email communication platform.Event-related communications and promotions may be sent under legitimate interest to recipients who have a reasonable expectation of receiving such information (e.g. prior event participants, ecosystem contacts).
Each email includes a clear unsubscribe option. You can opt out of communications at any time.Mailchimp acts as a data processor and processes data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and standard contractual safeguards.
7. Data sharing & recipients
Personal data may be shared:between the joint controllers (Tenity Group AG and Tamedia Finanz und Wirtschaft AG) for organisational purposeswith trusted service providers (e.g. ticketing platform “Ticketino”, email tools, IT providers)ticketing and registration service providers (in particular Ticketino AG) for the purpose of processing event registrations and ticket purchaseswith event partners where required for specific sessions or formats.
8. International data transfers
Where data is transferred outside Switzerland or the EEA, appropriate safeguards are applied (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).
9. Data retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy or to meet legal obligations.
