Switzerland as the Epicenter of Financial Innovation: Launch of the Inaugural "Swiss FinTech Week" in June 2026
In June 2026, Zurich will become the stage for a major premiere: with the first-ever "Swiss Fintech Week," Switzerland gains a central platform that unites the entire Fintech ecosystem in Zurich, one of the world’s most significant industry hubs. The Kongresshaus Zurich will serve as the heart of the event week, bringing together startups, established Fintechs, leading financial institutions, investors, and academia to actively shape the technological future of the Swiss financial center.

Switzerland is one of the world's leading Fintech hubs. While other global financial centers have dedicated major industry weeks to their Fintech sectors for years, Switzerland has lacked such a format until now. The Swiss Fintech Week closes this gap. It bundles existing initiatives and new formats into a week-long innovation platform in Zurich, generating impact far beyond the region.
Innovation in the Heart of Zurich
With the Kongresshaus Zurich as its central venue, the Swiss Fintech Week takes place at one of the city's most prestigious locations. The week focuses on the industry’s most pressing technological developments, including:
Next-Generation Banking: The impact of Artificial Intelligence on efficiency and customer experiences.
Tokenization & Digital Assets: Switzerland's pioneering role in the regulated crypto space.
Beyond Banking: The integration of financial services into the digital everyday lives of businesses and consumers.
The Swiss Fintech Week is initiated by two key players in the ecosystem, contributing their complementary expertise to foster the dialogue between tradition and innovation.
"The Swiss Fintech Week creates a platform that underscores Switzerland's claim as a leading location for innovation and investment. It is about combining global perspectives with local excellence and not just discussing innovation, but actively driving it forward - with international relevance and impact," explains Andreas Iten, CEO and Co-Founder of Tenity.
Pascal Novotny, Managing Director of the Finanz und Wirtschaft Forum, adds: "The financial center is undergoing a fundamental transformation. Strategic partnerships between traditional financial institutions and Fintechs are a key driver of innovation and central to setting the course for the digital future. We want to contribute to making the location's innovative strength more visible and promoting strategic dialogue."
The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) supports the Swiss Fintech Week as a Global Strategic Partner. This collaboration promotes international exchange and networking with global financial markets.
A Decentralized Festival with a Central Hub
While the Kongresshaus serves as the main venue for major conferences, the Swiss Fintech Week is intentionally complemented by decentralized formats to include the diversity of Swiss innovation hubs—from Paradeplatz to Zurich-West. Planned activities include:
Exclusive conferences and deep dives at the Kongresshaus Zurich.
Startup showcases and pitch events for national and international investors. Numerous side events, open formats, and networking opportunities distributed across the entire city.
Detailed programming and information for partners will be published in the coming weeks on the official website: www.swissfintechweek.com
